Overview
Burology is a coffee subscription brand built around sustainability, quality, and community. Designed as a modern coffee club, the brand focuses on delivering high-quality coffee beans directly to customers while encouraging a slower, more intentional coffee experience. The goal of this project was to create a visual identity that feels contemporary and minimal, while still being approachable and expressive. Reflecting on both, the craft behind the coffee and the sense of belonging that comes with being part of a club.
Outcome
The Burology identity uses a minimalist typographic system to balance modern design with approachability. A clean sans serif logo establishes a contemporary foundation, while subtle typographic details introduce visual interest and edge. A monospaced typeface was selected for packaging and informational materials to create clarity and structure.
A restrained palette of white and charcoal keeps the brand minimal and modern, allowing typography and graphics to take focus. Minimalist cartoon-style illustrations add warmth and personality, reinforcing the idea of Burology as a welcoming coffee club. These graphics are used across posters and infographic-style layouts to clearly communicate the subscription process.
